What are the company's plans for the next 12 months?
Flippa has recently conducted a detailed employee engagement survey and this will drive many of our people related initiatives for the next year. In addition, we are currently building a learning portal of resources including inhouse sales training material, videos and operations guides to support our team to be consistent and effective in their roles. We will continue to focus on hiring talent to build our growing team and we will focus on career objective conversations with our existing people to support their development.
How do you approach diversity and inclusion?
Flippa is growing and as we build our team [61 employees and growing], diversity and inclusion has become integral to our recruitment process and hiring decisions. In addition to two key office locations in Melbourne and Austin, Texas we have employees based all over the world, our hiring practices have led to a highly diverse workforce of cultures and backgrounds consisting of 24 different nationalities and 25 languages spoken. Put simply, we hire the best person for the job and look beyond borders which has resulted in our cultural diversity.When it comes to gender diversity, we have more work to do to achieve our ultimate goal of 50/50.
