What is the company’s approach to professional development?
"At ikaros, the services we sell directly depend on the knowledge and capabilities of our team. As a result, professional development is of the highest priority for us.Learning on the job is a key tool on how we train our people. This includes shadowing more senior consultants, actively sharing learnings in our internal Slack groups and an extensive internal knowledge base in Notion. We also run regular feedback cycles where personal and professional development goals are defined and an action plan is put together. We then review progress against this plan on a monthly and quarterly basis. We also provide a generous training budget that our team members can decide on how to use—whether for courses like Reforge, conferences, subscriptions or memberships."
What is the company's culture like?
"The culture at ikaros is entrepreneurial and performance-driven, yet friendly, fun and welcoming. We are a remote-first team that is spread all across the globe, with team members in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. We highly value personal integrity, a desire to make data-driven decisions, curiosity, and willingness to learn. We regularly conduct check-ins with our staff to ensure satisfaction, and we also conduct anonymous satisfaction surveys that are reviewed by the leadership team on a regular basis.A culture where the team closely knows each other is important for us as a remote team, so we host all staff meet-ups with fun events regularly throughout the year and for hitting our milestones."
What are the company's plans for the next 12 months?
"We'll continue to grow our consulting arm, hiring especially at the Junior to Senior Consultant level across growth, product and engineering. As part of our ambitions of becoming the 'MBB' for product-led growth we will continue to develop internal and external tools to deliver our services in a tech enabled manner. Beyond consulting we are building a solution to address the capacity limitations and poor data quality many growth teams face—allowing them to ideate, prioritise, and validate growth experiments at scale, delivering the outcome of a small growth analytics team for our clients. We are currently piloting this product with a handful of customers and expect to launch publicly towards the end of 2024. "
How do you approach diversity and inclusion?
"As a globally distributed team and remote-first business, diversity is unalienable our organisation. We view diversity as a catalyst for innovation. By fostering an inclusive environment, we believe that we can unlock new ideas, approaches, and solutions that are reflective of the diverse world we live in.This is reflected in our flexible and collaborative work environment and our leadership team's ongoing emphasis on growing diversity in our team."
